Kulambu Masala

Preparation

In a pan, heat oil add mustard seeds. Once it starts spluttering, add curry leaves and whole red chilly add chopped onions and fry onions in it till golden brown.

Add ginger garlic paste and fry it for few seconds.

Add tomatoes and salt , cook it for few minutes till tomatoes are cooked.

Then add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and kulambu masala. Cook it.

Add boiled eggs and bhuno them by turning occasionally on medium flame.

Now add little water and stir.

Cover and simmer on low flame.

Cook till curry thickens and masala is cooked.

Garnish with chopped coriander.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs - 4 number
  • Oil - 40 ml
  • Ginger, Garlic - 10 gm
  • Chopped Tomatoes - 100 gms
  • Wholered Chilly - 1 number
  • Cumin - ½ tspn
  • Onion Chopped - 200 gms
  • Kulambu Masala - 15-20 gms
  • Green Chilli Slit - 2 number
  • Curry leaves - 1 stalks
  • Mustard Seeds - ½ tspn
  • Chopped Coriander - 20-25 gms
  • Salt to taste 
  • Red Chilli Powder -1 tspn
  • Turmeric Powder - ½ tspn
